I rode to work yesterday, I normally drive the scoot as long as its not raining. the scoot has too many scoops and things to work well in wet conditions. the highlight of the ride is the way home, I have a long stretch where I get to pick it up on one wheel. yesterday I got it up on one wheel, according to google maps it was 2364 feet distance (almost a 1/4 mile!)

1320 is a quater mile. so you did almost a half mile! I got my ass kicked today by a stupid mitsubishi galant timing belt, stupid design tensioner that i dont have the special tool for, so getting the belt tensioned properly is a big fiasco.... That i had to do twice because the water pump leaked All in all i lost my ass on a 4 hour job, but at least i did get it done. Then when i hopped on the Elite to go home, its like my shitty day became good all of a sudden.

Yep, rode to work, froze riding home this morning, then rode to my appointment. Seized the water pump again, stranded.... Sigh... I need more friends with trucks...

Went to work this morning and got lightly hit on purpose by a stupid truck driver. The reason for all that was;
I drive on this road, no cars around no nothing. Then suddenly a truck tries to join my lane/road. He was parked outside of the road in front of his company building. He doesn't seem to see me and getting closer and closer. Me driving around 40 km/h accelerate to pass him before I become a sandwich. He looks like got surprised by my appearance and didn't expect me so again my guess here is he didn't see me at all. So he started to honk like a maniac and chasing me and try to pass me very dangerously. I was shaking my head showing him what an idiot he is by putting out my most beautiful middle finger. That seem to have enraged him more and he started to honk all the time. After a few meters there was a bit of a jam in front of us so I stopped and that moment he hit my rear fender "on purpose" to provoke some sort of reaction on top of that he threw an empty can at me and screamed "that was dangerous!". (I was thinking that moment, "yeah right, those words coming from a guy that chased me and hit me on purpose. Who is more dangerous here.") I then looked at his number plate and went straight to the next police box and reported that incident. Now it is an accident case since he hit me in the rear. No damage though, the fender is flexible and therefore didn't break, I wish it had though so that I had more stronger evidence.
Well a shitty start for a morning but I guess there are worse. Police recommended me next time to stop and call them on the spot where that happened. I know for sure that if I had stopped that moment that would have gone beyond just words and honking. I guess police work is allover the same in the world, something has to happen first before they move their asses.

Rode to and from work. Tgb didn't act up, besides being under powered... Realized this isn't going to be a good cold weather rider. The front plastics don't provide near as much wind protection as it looks. The seat brings me up where the tops of my thighs are barely protected. The wind goes right across them, very chilly!
