I wonder how many people thought this cylinder wouldn't run? tsimi, how many miles you got on that thing now?

spaz12currently around 300 miles, hard driven miles with many power take offs.

I think that will be possible. I have not experienced any problems with that cylinder thus far and I doubt that anything will happen. I service the scooter on a regular basis. I change gear oil every 1000km. Premix ratio is 40:1 and the 21mm PHBG carb does a good job delivering all that fuel and oil into the cylinder.

I change gear oil every 1000km Why? You can leave it there for 10000km if you want. That oil doesnt get polluted or anything like motoroil does.

It's a good way of checking the condition of the trans bearings. Some of Brent's problems would not of been detected if it wasn't for gear oil changes. Likewise early and frequent changes on my Honda detected an issue that could of turned out bad.
