That's why I love this place. Thanks@corrosion. I think the motor is all right just chasing hose leaks and antifreeze plays hell with the ignition wires and such. It missed lightly at 70 mph morning but not steady and now it is dead smooth

Those cooling system tablets also work well with the Ford 4.0L head gasket leak problem. I have used those or the Bars old fashioned brown liquid stop leak for years.

I had a bad coolant temp sensor. Read 40 below cold at 60 ambient. Plugs Wires cap and rotor and it still missed changed the sensor and runs like a watch without the ticking lol

Also got rid of the orange extended life antifreeze and went with the standard green. That orange stuff is hard on head gaskets in my experience

OK, so it is not just me. Good. I feel better now. I have had to shovel under my monitor 4 times now and I am getting tired of it.

I put a space heater under my desk. It melts the snow, warms the rum Ringo toddy, keeps the chestnuts toasted...
