You never know why the heck its like that until you see a reason or application that it needs to be like that lol.
Mine came with a threaded cable adjuster sticking right out of the top.

the carb is here. here are the particulars 1 the cap is threaded for the cable guide so the dell 90 degree guide should be ok and is less$ than the oko swagged cap. 2 mj is k110 3 pj is k45 4 needle has 5 slots, clip is set on #2 rich 5 engine intake side od is 34.7mm 6 filter side od is 50mm/48.7mm 5 air/fuel is 3/4 turn out 6 idle set is 3 1/2 turns out note: there is a dell 19mm clone for around $50, better to abandon the oko before putting more $ into the it?

1) you can probably use a bicycle brake cable adjuster (and lock nut) for a top guide (yes they do come curved). 2) only running it will tell (Treats has a OKO jet pack for around $20) 3) again you are going to have to run it and see if it adjusts 4) again another running adjustment (midrange) 5) Whatever you buy in an aftermarket carb you likely will be buying an intake 6) K+n, or uni
Whatever you buy there is going to be "other costs", unless you buy a "kit".
