The 150 should be a top mount sorta similar to the minarelli like shaker's. Something similar may be possible.

It's going to take some custom fab. work no matter what you do. 500 smackers is a lot of loot for just a couple of brackets. I made an extended motor mount for my 50 drag scoot. It's just basically longer than a stock one. I'm getting ready to add a couple of vertical braces to it and just make it a permanent part of the frame. The motor pivots for a swingarm already.
I'm with you Fox. I want a bigger front brake.

Sounds like I will be going that route..we have all the tools necessary to do it so fabbin it up aint the problem, just figuring out the best route! Will any lines need to be stretched? Possibly just a longer rear brake line. Could you post some pics up rocketdog of your setup on your drag scoot? Id appreciate it. Im gonna search the board to see if I can find some tho!

Stretch it more than a few inches and you'll need a longer rear brake hose or cable, depending if you have disc or drum. A long stretch could need a new throttle cable. Otherwise, you should just need to lengthen some wires and reroute fuel lines I believe.
His 50 and your 150 use completely different mounts.

I thought I seen in some of his posts he had a China 150 he could mock off of possibly..and Id rather just stretch it as far as I can without many cable extensions etc etc..not trying to sink a ton of money in this cause I plan on selling before long and making some money. I dont have much in it. Rode it for the first time today and had some fun tho! Installed a new intake and waiting on my jets to come in, thats the next project

I can show you a pic of the 50 motor mount I built, but as GT says, it ain't similar. Yeah I have a 150, but I hadn't planned on stretching it. I'll look at the mount and see if I can come up with an idea or two. Aside from that, I'm afraid I can't be of much help at the moment. Unfortunately I'm having a ton of issues. Legal and otherwise. I won't depress you with the details.

I found the pic of your 50 mount. And thanks man if you could just check it out and offer some suggestions I would appreciate it. I fully understand the legal issues part. Lol. Going thru them as well.

Maybe Shakerdriver could snap a few closeups of his set-up? I like what he did. He needed longer cables but he noticed that if he ran them along his framebrace they would work. Simple and sweet!

If your talking about my drag scoot, I just removed the stock mounts from a different frame and rewelded them back on 9inches behind the stock location. The 150's are extremely similar to the mina's and I've been kicking around the idea of stretching my 150, after I've had a little R&R for my back to heal I'll get out there and look at it and see if I can come up with some ideas and post them.

I was just looking at my 150 frame, to see if it would be easily done. Like Shaker says, the shock mounts are a problem. Especially the right one. As far as engine mount goes, you could weld an upside down A to the frame and hold that. RD

I was out in the garage this morning looking at the misses Tank which I've presently got stipped down to the frame, it looks like it could be done with some work almost like I done on my mina. But like RD said, the problems gonna be the shock relocation especially the right one due to the gas tank and petcock. You can lift the tank but then it will interfere with the plastics. If your looking at lowering the whole thing my next idea won't work for you, but if you flip the shock mounts around and reweld them in under the gas tank that would get it about another 3-4 inches back and raise them up some. If I was to go with that idea I'd start looking at some shorter shocks to bring it back down the 2-3 inches its gonna rise. Sorry I didn't snap any pics for reference, but it can be done with a little welding and determination. I'm still considering this idea just not right now when riding season's getting to kick off full steam.
