i may need to get another base gasket for a 54mm big bore kit. dose any one know where to order them or where i can get gasket material and what gasket material works good for base gaskets

ok so i found base gaskets for 54mm bbk or stock 50cc but still not sure about just material i would like to make my own an save a $ or two but need to find the right material. any help is great

I have actually just went down to the local auto parts store and bought my rolls when i dont use a "real" base gasket.. The stores around here actually carry different thickness. The thickness is something you'll have to play with to find the correct thickness that you'll use.. Go ahead and get several rolls.  |

Autotech355 will sell sell them at $1 each if you contact him. That's the best source I know of. I was just using the only gas and oil rated material Pep Boys had when I was in there. You'd be better off with a compressed material that is rated for fuel and oil though.
