A privateer YZR500 won the classic TT last year beating some trick four stroke bikes up to 1200cc. The Suter is about 195hp, about the same as a world super bike, but 30KG lighter!

Interesting fact that MCN did a lap of a track in the summer comparing a moto3 bike against the new R1. The lap times were virtually identical, but did it in such a different way. You don't realise how fast those little bikes are
