Today went to the People's Market and a spin to Aberaeron going down a hill got a fright when I saw the Speedo touching nearly 80mph wish I had GPS see how fast the Aprilia Habana 125 with the pre Leader engine was doing. Seems to pull ok on hill's more so than the Vespa's I've had with the leader engine. What was yours like for speed aeroxbud . On the 16 mile trip home I was a car behind a noisy 2 stroke stuck in traffic. Turned out looking like a kitted 70cc with expansion chamber riden by a young girl. Eventually when I got pass the slow car's it took me at least 5 mile's to catch up and I could only overtake on the long 2 mile straight. It had a good turn of speed. I stopped just before Lampeter and as about to pull away she went past and waved. I mile later hit town and I was left standing again in traffic appears she is a very good rider.

I wasn't aloud to ride the wife's habana much. She was very protective of her baby. I did pick it up from Aldershot when she wasn't well once, and it had been serviced. I did see 70 on the speedo, with more to come. But it didn't seem very happy to be going so fast, and it wasn't mine. Mimi said she used to see 85mph going down hill on the A3!

Most likely the same steepness or slightly more of a hill but shorter. 85 wow.

I just love the “selfie with new scooter in the back of the van” pictures!!! Yamaha Vino 125 circa 2005 She has a lot of issues to fix before she’s ready to ride but it looks pretty good and I got it real cheap.

Had to take out miss bossy boots out for a spin today. She liked revving it up and then it was time for milkshake. Shock when we got back her mum said she will go on at some point. My daughter Beth has always refused to.

Yesterday was a nice day to ride both bikes to test them out and coffee. Saw a horse drawn cortège awaiting at Gwylwms the Dead the funeral directors.
Then off for breakfast.

Thats some wild bodywork there! I wish I had the skills to do stuff like that. I can build crazy motors like the best of them, but body panel mods are beyond me right now.

Around the end of the 90's into the millennium there were some crazy show scooters. Massive amounts of work and money went into them.

Scooter culture just never really took off here... Most of what we ended up with was cutesy commuter scoots. Even when we did get some more badass ones like the Italjet Dragster 180 they never sold well. Our loss I guess...
