^ The first pic doesn't have the turbo, must be a build series pic. Second observation, didn't realize these little engines even had enough exhaust pressure to make a turbo worthwhile?? They can't possibly be an easy bolt-on and expect to work.

If it's a show scoot, it just has to look pretty. I don't know the story of that Ruck though. I've seen some stories and vids over the years of people putting the smallest turbos they can find on GY6 engines and making hardly any boost. One person put one of the VZ21 turbo on a 250 and could still only get to 5psi. I watched a turbo company's project bike on an old pocket bike forum that I was on. They managed 3psi on a 110cc pitbike style engine.

The Game Over Ruck was built by Rucksters to be the most over the top Ruck out there. I believe that motor is a bottom mount Yamaha(Zuma 125cc) not a GY6. It's a rider that looks like a show bike. Not sure of boost pressure, but what else do you add to the game ending Ruckus, a turbo lol. Can be seen in action in the KillerScoot Super Sunday videos.

I wonder if anyone has put something like the Kymco 300i engine in one. Cruise 70MPH all day, prob 85MPH or faster top speed, and last for a long time. The engines don't appear to be massive like some of the 400cc+ stuff from pics. They're too much money or I'd be looking into one, but if you've got powder coat, custom wheels, turbo GY6 kinda funds... that would surprise a lot of people and be super reliable for a long time most likely.

As a top mount engine it might not be too difficult to do. You would have to Fab the mount and possibly the rear axle if you want to go fatty but that would be pretty cool.

My first attempt at a swap was with a Kymco Agility 125cc engine. Used a Mojo Customs GY6 Skinny* mount and the Agility harness. The only catch was, I couldn't have a fatty wheel. That engine was strong and what a GY6 'should' be.
* A 7 or 8 inch Mojo mount would've worked, but there was no support for a rear wheel hub that would fit the Agility motor. And the hub allows for a lot of wheel choices. I've seen a Ruck with the Kymco People 200i engine on it, but it looked funny to me with those tall 16 inch wheels. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that I do not want to be on a Ruck that does 80mph. But I would love to see one do it.

A Ruck that does 80? Where do I sign up?! Seriously tho, I decided on a scooter over a rocket because I have never outgrown the speed-induced adrenaline. Still too immature for these things and mid-life is imminent. Riding is all about WOT no?
