riding season is Imminent With such a nice Ruckus I wouldn't be able to handle the wait... take it out in the snow yard! That think looks Thanks.... i have been... tuning. Get lots of salt thrown on it from the roads and have to keep rinsing off. I'll start riding it into work here pretty soon. Not a fan of riding in the rain, or snow, or any of those 20F mornings. And just when the roads start to clear up, it snows and they dump more salt on them again. Spring is always "fun" around here.

This scooter was parked beside me at work today. I don't know football but maybe someone else will understand what the owner is trying to reference? Hehe Couple weeks back some really strong wind came through and I found this poor thing on it's side when going to lunch. Heavy as could be to get up again while locked up. It definitely took a beating. I noticed the owner did some drift stitches since.

That #6 up above is a beauty!! Where do I sign up to sell the spare kidney? I finally got my Met to a point where I don't cause it to rub. NCY shock + adapter did the trick. I still had to grind the shock nuts some so they don't rub the tire. I'm sure I did something wrong, but hey!, I can ride!!

The “Sei Giorni” scooter has gone down in history: it was developed specifically for the arduous “International Six Days of Varese” in 1951 in Monza, where it was the star performer, taking home an astonishing 9 gold medals. One of the members of that legendary Piaggio Racing Team was Giuseppe Cau, with race number 94. In these photos, he proudly displays the Gold Medal he won 66 years ago in Monza, on 23 September 1951.
Sei Giorni translates as ‘six days’ and the scooters were named as such because they competed in the on and off-road ISDT event, popular in Italy at that time in which the Vespas won nine gold awards in 1951. The Sei Giorni Vespas featured trimmed legshields, the option of 8″ or larger 10″ wheels, extended fuel tanks, more powerful engines and a number of other features. Some of these features apparently evolved over the next couple of years during the Vespa ‘Sei Giorni’ Racer’s very short production run. Up to 300 are thought to have been produced, based on the originals used by the factory team, making this Vespa one of the most sought after by enthusiasts today.
