From what I understand: you just cut through the sections, rotating them to fit, then weld them back together.
Probably better suited for a vertical engine (Dio etc), but never say never.........
Might be a bit higher in the power band than is optimum on a scooter.
Cr80/85 pipe is good for this too.

I did a CR80 a while back,results were a lot of work and a gutless pipe!These pipes are tuned for a super wild ported cylinder with a close ratio gearbox,which we have neither of!!
