Here's the port, 3 prongs, plug will be female, most likely, and a nub to prevent incorrect connecting.

Yup, that looks like the one I remember. I'll look for it later this week, going on vacation tomorrow.

Same charger that the "hoverboards" use.

Same charger that the "hoverboards" use. That's not very reassuring. Boom, a slow moving explosive...

If you have a regular 12 volt charger you can always remove the jumper and wire it up to charge the 12 v batteries in parallel. Not sure if that's practical because of how they are installed.

I watched a video on that with a very deep south accented man explaining it. I may do it , bored, if I get to it before a charger is gotten

eh you could still use the charger, just take the charger apart and save the circuit inside and the cord to the scooter and wire it to a cord to the wall where the prongs used to hook up

It crossed my mind. But if I was gonna take something apart to make it work I'd just use my float charger on the battery directly, which I may do just to be sure they work. I'd hate to be wasting anyone's time or my money.

From my quick eBay search the chargers seem to be around $10 bucks at the minimum. And I'm pretty sure it's a 24v system, not 12.
