I've been a member since 90GTVert started this site, just haven't been around in quite some time since my scoot died on me a couple years back. Now I'm back on two wheels and ready to start building again.

Google, I was looking for info on grinding pistons and filing ports to match. Every site I looked at either had a link to 90GTVert's posts here, or credited him or others here for their work. So I figured I would skip the middle man and join this site. The info here is spot-on. Thanks for alk of the help. I found a whole new world here, I gad no idea that 2t motors were so versatile.

Google. The first thing I do when I find an interest is google what it is plus the word forum.

To be completely honest? I just googled "50cc moped forums" and this was second on the list, the first being "Scootdawg." Other then the name, the problem I had with that forum was that the latest post was way back in 2013 (okay, way back is relative, but whatever). It just seemed the forums had died, and I wasn't terribly certain I wanted to be a part of a forum called "Scootdawgs." So I passed it and went down the list. This one was second, had an active community, and generally looks to have everything that I'm looking for. So I took a quick look around, and figured "ehn, why not, right?" And registered. I'll be glad to see what others have to say around here, and hopefully will own my own scooter in the near future.

I was googling a craigslist find and I happened across 2strokd's 2003 Kymco Cobra build. I also looked for 49/50cc forums and this was on the front page. After visiting other forums it seems that this one has a good amount of activity and a diverse amount of bikes so here I am!
