I screwed around with mix ratios just to do it some time ago. You can see differences in carbon on the head and piston crown in the photos. I don't claim it to be the most scientifically sound study since I didn't check all specs or swap rings each time and so on, but it's still sort of interesting IMO. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/4871/stroke-oil-comparisonI run all of my stuff around 50:1 with AMSOil or slightly richer(oil). Mostly because it has worked for a long time for me and I can take longer rides without needing to carry as much oil.

I only run royal purple hp-2c at a ratio of 45:1 just to be on the safe side. but with the royal purple 2t oil you can go up to a 60:1 ratio without negative effects to the cylinder.
yes royal purple is expensive, but it goes a long way and worth every penny in my mind.
