I am going to do exactly what I told myself I wouldn't do Plans for right now is a 47mm bbk, variator, cam and do a total check-up on everything after 1600 miles! Will be ordering parts tomorrow, getting a shopping list put together So far I'm going to order the Malossi Multivar, either partsforscooters or scootertuning's 47mm bbk if I can't find another brand at a similar price, and an A9 camshaft, I can't seem to find a 139qmb a9 camshaft at partsforscooters, all they have is gy6, would that work??

The GY6 cam is different than the 139QMB cam.

The GY6 cam is different than the 139QMB cam. Ok well then I'll have to call partsforscooters and see if they have any 139qmb cams because I couldn't find on their website, but scootertuning's.ca has NCY cams for $60. I'll figure it out, Today's project begins with replacing the fuel filter, and removing half of my headphone cord that's wrapped around the fan and/or flywheel ;(

Scrappy sells the A9 for ~$40. I may have to make 3 different orders then!!! Lmfao ?? Alright, so I have a problem that's been occurring for 2-3 weeks now, when I first start the scoot and start riding it won't go faster than 15-20 mph for the first mile or so, and if I start the scooter and let it idle to warm up, it won't idle at all: without constant throttle it cuts off. I thought it could've been the fuel filter, that wasn't the case, I picked up carb cleaner today, will give the carb a thorough cleaning, but is there any other things that could cause my scooter to run so poorly?

I would also check your jetting and petcock. Could be you aren't giving your Carb/engine enough gas.

Carb is cleaned thoroughly, the it has a 72MJ in it. And it's a PD18J carb, so far right now in my shopping cart at scootertuning.ca is a 72cc 47mm bbk, NCY A9 cam, and the malossi Multivar which comes with 7G rollers and a new contra clutch spring, I'd love to get a new carb, bigger ofcourse, any suggestions on a comfortable size to get with these new parts?
Edit: with the carb cleaned, it still isn't running right, I'm taking my scoot to the shop tomorrow and my dads going to pay the $75 to have the valves adjusted and hopefully I'll be going 40+ mph again!
