hey bro long time no talk. been working alot . i got the 70cc kit finally done =( how ever about 4 miles in the the ride it popped! she blew! i had a shop in town do it due to lack of time. he said my crank needs to be replaced. they are getting me a new top-end and a tuned pipe. but i need a crank and seals left and right. he said mrp could get the parts for about 100. i wanted to ask you knowing moneys tight what to do. seeing how we have the same motors. also since hes doing the crank should i get a better intake I'm keeping the stock filter and carb with bigger jets. and should i pre mix even with bigger jets? could you send me a text 850-867-7081 i only have Internet at work now. times got hard.

:welcome2:
Hopefully you come on at work to see this... I'm not going to get into a long text conversation with anyone, sorry. Even my close friends know that. I'm too cheap and I pay for every text and every minute on my prepaid phone. If anyone else wants to send a bunch of texts and update us, be my guest. Don't mean to be rude, and I'm sorry if that isn't the warm welcome you wanted, but I get a lot of emails and PMs on this and other sites for calls and texts and I just can't do it. I am happy to answer anything I can on here though.
We'd need more info to help. It's been a long while and I can't remember your BBK. Was it sport level like a Polini Sport or Autotech355 or scrappydog etc.... or was it a racier kit that wants to rev? I'm really inexperienced with the 70cc kits that rev and stock stroke cranks, so I actually don't know what your best bet is here. Hopefully someone else does.
An intake isn't really gonna do much of anything without adding a larger carb.
One of the strengths of pre-mix is that it stays consistent. Bigger jets, bigger carb, whatever... you'll always have X amount of fuel per X amount of oil. So yes, stick with pre-mix.

You shouldn't need anything too fancy for the Autotech 70. I looked around and it looks like MRP offers stock replacement stuff, which I'd think should be fine for a sport kit. Hopefully they use decent bearings, something not made in China. It's a good price. Even scrappydog wants $80 for a crank without bearings. Seals are $30 there. I'd say they're treating you fair on that price.
