The annual Memorial day sport bike rally is going on this week here. The authorities have implemented a 23 mile Traffic Loop again this year like last year to assist in controlling the participants of the bike rally from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The Loop makes local travel difficult when it is implemented, but not impossible. I choose to stay home tonight. |

I made the mistake of doing that. The cars are what got me. Gotta be the ugliest collection of cars I've seen in one video. These donks or whatever make no sense to me. It's as if someone asks, how can I ruin my car with horrible ride, handling, and appearance... and this is the answer they came up with. That poor Mustang.  At least it looks like a good spot if you need a set of regular wheels and tires that aren't rubber bands. They must be giving them away. |

This week sucks, I hate it.

They start coming in this past Monday as soon as the Harleys leave. Things get kicked off pretty good by tonight (Thursday). Then Friday, Saturday AND Sunday night are a free for all anything goes. Then everyone heads out on Monday which is the actual Holiday. They are insane! I can't believe this is allowed to go on in America. I bet some of you think I am being dramatic, or exaggerating. Wish YOU were here to see! I just had to go extract my youngest daughter from her summer job down in the heart of town. |

oldgeek, you should have gone on a Memorial Day vacation to somewhere other than the town you live in.
I know what you fell like.
I'm glad I no longer live near Woodward Ave. in Oakland County MI. That is the Woodward Cruise. Too much traffic, it take about 1 hour to about 2 blocks! Too many people as well. There is no way of getting across Woodward or down Woodward if you have to!
