Got a 50cc Baccio and when it sits for a week I get 2 cycle oil leaking out of the air box. Anybody know if there is a check valve that can be messed up?

Have any idea how to take the check valve apart to clean and fix? Leaks oil just sitting in the garage. Has to be the check valve.

I don't know a whole lot about two stroke tuning but I can say that when my engine is running a little bit of gas/oil spray will shoot out of the back of the carb and make it's way to the air box. Over time this soaks the filter element with oily gas. After sitting, the oily stuff settles and drips out of the air box. I don't sweat it cause its only a little bit and oil on the filter element is fine with me. If yours is dripping a large amount of oil then you might have bad reeds if you even have reeds on a Baccio.

i would like to know how much oil you are leaking and if what you are seeing is just oil or if its oil and gas mix
some blowback is normal on a 2 stroke
if what you are getting out of your air box is a mix of oil and gas then your reeds may not be sealing properly any more or may be chiped if you still have stamped steel reeds
honestly if you have a minerllie based 2 stroke i have never had them leak oil past the injector pump
