I think it comes with the 1E40QMB style motor like most of the beamer 3

So you're looking for cheap methods to make your 1E40QMB take off quicker while keeping it 49cc? I'd say a cheap set of rollers to tune with, a torque spring kit, and stiffer clutch springs. You'll probably end up liking the red "2k" clutch springs. The clutch consists of three pads that get forced outward towards the inside of the clutch bell. After a certain RPM the force from the pads going outward is too great for the springs, and eventually the pads contact the bell; propelling you forward. The springs are different strengths. The stronger the strength of the spring holding back the pads from the clutch bell, the higher RPM the clutch pads engage the bell. This is a good thing on the 1E40QMB, as the most power is made at higher RPMs, usually. This will get you taking off at the higher more powerful RPM, eliminating that initial lag on take off. Tune that CVT and get the power from the cylinder to the wheel more efficiently; thus improving acceleration. Of course you will also need the tools to get the job done, or know someone who can. Tons of info on this stuff in the tech section.

well i dont care about price i want the best and iam already thinking about going with the 70cc BBK from scrappydog and with that would the 2k clutch springs and torque spings help for top speed and give me some balls on take off? .... ive already read up on carb tuning and BBK install and the stock main jet is 80 so iam thinking a 90 will go well with the BBK.
Also wanted to know if there is a restirction on the beamer 3 that i should know of maybe like the green wire on the cdi or a varaior washer that needs to be removed?

Doubt it has a CDI restriction. What's your top speed?

if you do not care about price sell the eaton and get a bigger scoot or one of the 90/100cc engines that are out there..

Info I forgot in PM... the Etons use a 10mm wrist pin/piston pin. They have a small taper for the flywheel and the smaller splines for the variator. You'll need to know the pin size if you order a BBK. Also, iron kits are more forgiving and tend to have a longer service life than aluminum kits. A lot of the aluminum kits offer more performance.

The Eton I tore down for parts for my drag scoot was an 05-06 beamer 3 and it has a green wire on the back of the cdi for a rev limiter, if so either cut it or replace the cdi. They also have a washer type piece welded in the exhaust, cut it out or if your going with an aftermarket exhaust check it for the washer also. If the beamers fully stock it may still have the spacer in between the vari halves that keeps it from closing all the way thus limiting speed, remove it.

Well as for speed on flats i got 35-38 uphill ill hit 30-33 and on downhills 40-45 depending on the steepness of that hill
but ya i will def check for a green wire and that spacer in the varaior Can anyone give me input on this

So vert ur saying that all etons are a 10mm or is there a chance it can be 12mm

Other than for some of the 90cc motors, I always end up with 2k clutch springs for the minarellis. I like sliders the best. 15x12mm prob 5g or so. Maybe a 1k contra. Those are just guesses. Can't really get it spot on without trial and error.
