got the super sexy athena crank today and i do not need to machine the case for the crank the old crank was 2.835 and the new is the same but the rod is a lot longer so i will just need to find some one to cut the case for the cyl when i get it

I'm surprised, but that's good news.

now here is where i have to start to think the rad im running is from a yz85 so its good for the 70cc build as it was ment to cool a larger dirt bike but im wondering if it will be enough as im sure the compresion will be higher it looks like the yz250 to 450 dual rad set up is pretty much the same size so im thinking of upgrading to that for cooling

The YZ85 might be fine if you are going to run a thermostat..
Id love to see some pics of the crank when you get a chance!

Right... Brakes bigger? Different spline shaft? I have a few wheels and can source others local. If you have anything in particular in mind and dont already have it give me a pic to go on and i will get you one

dang i love finding deals on used parts i got a stage 6 clutch bell comeing for dirt cheap too i have a stage 6 r/t 433 bell comeing i may have to make a .020 in spacer as the guy i bought it from was missing a washer when it was sent to him so he went to have a spacer made and his friend thought he wanted it shaved off .020 in but he has the spacer now that comes with it so i just may have to buy an extra spacer or have 1 made the good news is the adly clutch stuff fits the zuma and the zuma clutch parts fit the adly
the bad news is with the over sized varaitor i will have to figure out my own belt as the yamaha belt is shorter and narrower then the adly belt
im realy thinking about adding the stage 6 over sized torque driver as i have saved a bunch on some used parts
i wish i still had my zuma up gears so i could compare the gears to see if those would swap out too but i dont think i will need to up gear i didnt count my gears but when i twisted the shafts i counted between 10.5 to 1 and 11 to 1
but i will compare them after a while when i tear the zuma case apart they look simular just put in diffrent the intermediate shaft is in upside down compared to the zuma
