That is the worst kind, you can't avoid it. As bad as the stuff the kids bring home from the cesspools we call schools. But then plenty of red wine may help make the symptoms more tolerable. I don't know because I don't drink but there have been stories...

I have a couple updates on this thread.
Hybrid #3 is sold! It sold for $600, split 50/50 with the dealer, I made a whole $30 or so on it. If you include labor, I lost my shirt. At least I got my money back on it.
Hybrid #5 (my bike) has been upgraded to 72cc to better handle my weight on hills. I'm in the process of converting it to yellow using the panels off the electric only version. One was damaged so I took a blue one and painted it to match. This one is going to get modified for winter riding as well.
Hybrid #2 doesn't run right so I'm trading it for labor with the scooter shop mechanic. He's going to install a 72cc kit on my daughter's Taotao and still owe me about $75 worth of labor for a future project, or something else TBD.
Hybrid #4 is going to be sold at the dealership as well. My son doesn't ride it and I promised the dealership they would have three bikes to sell. They have been giving me free GY6 parts and doing the brunt of the selling at their shop.
While I am a decent mechanic there are some jobs I would just rather not do. The shop mechanic can do an upgrade in his sleep, and he does really good work.

Hybrid #2 is gone, I made the trade for labor on a BBK install for my daughter and a future project, TBD.
Now I'm down to eight scooters.
4 - Veken hybrids, one with 47mm BBK 1 - Veken electric scooter, no clue what I'm going to do with this. 1 - 2016 Taotao ATM50 with 47mm BBK 1 - Linhai, waiting to be rassembled and sold. REALLY low miles on this one. 1 - Yamaha Chappy, waiting for an engine
Both BBK scoots will remain in my fleet.
I'm not sure about the Chappy, I may put a modern CVT engine in it or a 2T 50cc engine from a mini motorcycle. I have the mini motorcycle laying around in my shed. I really like the old-school look of the Chappy.

Okay, minor updates:
My Hybrid:
I've switched most of the yellow panels from the electric over to my BBK hybrid. I haven't buttoned it up yet because I'm planning some upgrades. I've been riding the Taotao in the meantime.
1) 11 coil stator, I'm going to need more power for ... 2) EFI conversion, yeah, I know, but bear with me. I have two options that I'm looking at DIY or a kit from Aliexpress. Both are in the works. I'll start a thread on this eventually.
125cc Hybrid
I finally got around to repairing the 125cc for the owner to live up to my part of the trade for the yellow electric scooter.
New intake, fuel & vacuum lines, and new carb. Dumped the gas for fresh and it starts and runs great. I'm amazed at how much more power the 125cc engine has compared to my 72cc upgraded scooters. It takes off and moves great, but it's still ugly in y eyes. I'll be glad to see it go.

I took the red bike out for a short ride tonight and it wouldn't start unless I put my hand over the air cleaner intake. That tells me that either the electric choke isn't working right on the new carb or I have a vacuum leak. I'm leaning towards the vacuum leak since I've already found a cracked intake on the second bike and the hoses are hard and not flexible like new ones. It could be both. It wouldn't be the first time a new carb had a bad electric choke on it. If anyone wants to see these bikes, send me a PM. They're located in the Springfield Massachusetts area.
