I have one of those crank case breathers installed. Under load, it will push some oil out of the end of a 2' tube I have a catch can on the end of attached to the rack. So they are necessary, IMO.

I have a 52mm. It stretched out the timing chain after about 3000 miles. The tensioner may have been bad. But I replaced it. Also the vibrations strip out the exhaust studs. u second both of those. I actually found what I do is coat the threads if the studs in jb weld and install them wipe the excess off let it dry than install the exhaust with some JB on the nuts and let that dry before starting. I find mine pull the threads out of the head before the studs strip. It doesn't last forever but it lasts longer than regular. Also I use a high quality stud and nut. And my timing chain also stretched it nvr jumped but when I rebuilt with the stroker it was definitely stretched a lot

I also used just some clear silicone on stuff like exhaust brace bolts, and valve cover bolts. We'll see how long it lasts. So far so good.

I was thinking of red loctite but usually the method for removal of the red is heat from a tourch u know the studs don't get that hot but I was thinking it might be hot enough I'll have to try it. Do you find the nuts come loose or ur studs are pulling the threads out of the head?

Do you find the nuts come loose or ur studs are pulling the threads out of the head? There is no removing them, the studs just break. But I have no need to remove them. I also had to use loctite on the bolts holding the can on. As the can was coming off, even with silicone on them. So if you need to take them off, maybe try red loctite on the studs, and then silicone on the nuts. Silicone will hold up under that heat

I used red loctite because the studs were just stripping out the threads on the head, and ruining it anyways. So if the head is getting ruined, I'd rather have the exhaust permanently attached.

3200 miles on my ebay 52mm kit. I installed a brand new crank when I installed the kit. The crank case breather is useful by my logic, because I can fill my oil just a hair more than would otherwise be safe, and it doesn't blow the seals. In my mind, it keeps oil circulating through this thing a hair better.

Hello, I have a qmb139 engine. Will the combination of 50mm bbk and original valve head work smoothly? there is no 69mm version in my country
Also, is the air filter you recommend to me the original one or should I change to another filter?
