Joule Thiefs are really nèat circuits  my dad had no power in his house for a long time due to not paying lol anyway I made a bunch of inverters for cfl we didn't have much money to spend. I live in a small apartment and all of my lights, except 1, are JT circuits powered by dead batteries I get free from folks that were going to throw them away. I still have buckets of batteries left. I am no environmentalists but, when you don't have a lot of money, you do what you can...and if that helps saving some live batteries from the landfill, so much the better. Bill we need a how to vid on this lol all us peppers out here |
