Nude beach ahead. Picked it up for $100 from a friend. First on the list is general maintenance. Changed all the fluids, checked the CVT, and all the basic bits. Then I took her clothes off. Striping down some more. Don't want that, don't need this. Emissions must go. Gonna weld that hole shut.

Yes but not my first 2 wheels. I built a CB 750 hard tail from an 80' frame and a 71 motor.

Pair system fully deleted. All before finishing my first cup of coffee. I love hazelnut coffeemate. Peep my shitty welds fam. It's the top side so I don't care. Other side that mates is perfectly flat. Some paint And installation

The worst part of any project All electrics are hidden under the seat for now. Removed a few more tabs Still have to grind these down, but I like my neighbors so I try to make too much noise. The piston is leaking on the caliper. Fixing that is next on the list. Sanded and repainted the exhaust, put the heat shroud back on. Although though it's pitted, I like the chrome accent. I guess that's it for now as far as pictures go, for some reason the rest won't upload.

No-one will ever notice that block off plate. What would have been easy is to cut an aluminum can (pop or beer), mount between that plate and the port. There isn't that much pressure so the aluminum will hold up.

Im already addicted. I didn't think I'd like riding these as much as my 750s but oh boy, I do! I'd like to get a 150cc next. Or put one on this scoot.

Works great and I'll never have to touch it again.

The slower ride is very enjoyable and a lot of FUN. Some members here have motorcycles AND scooters. You miss a lot zipping down the road at 55mph or better.

Love my Indian, but I do confess.. ripping around on a TaoTao is quite fun as well. Especially after tweaking it to run better and get better throttle response. A MUST DO for ANYBODY who buys a scoot. You'll never regret putting in the effort to make it perform better, even if you're limited to 30-35 miles an hour.

Brake caliper was super duper broken. Looks like a bolt worked its way out, a brake pad was missing. Contact with the rotor chewed through a lot of metal. It doesn't look to me like it's done much damage to the rotor, but if you think it has, please let me know. I replaced the caliper with one from a parts scooter. What is that T shaped adapter for? It unscrews from the bottom.

The thing attached to the caliper? That is supposedly ABS.
