I kept trying to remember what your front fender reminded me of. I think the Yamaha C3. I like it.

Thanks spaz, I've never seen the C3 before. I like it. Like a ruckus but not. Kagetenshi, I don't get it...

You didn't show us the belt. LOL Try this. Put it all back together. Run it and rev it out a couple times to get the belt to settle back in. Pull CVT cover back off and check the variator for play/movement. Sometime a worn belt(on the sides) will allow the variator to have some free play and make noises at an idle. I bet it goes away as soon as you give a little throttle and the rollers move the variator out and takes up the belt slack/wear. I had this issue in the past. BTW, nice build.

Ok no need for a video, I looked at the belt after I ran the engine for a minute.... Looks like I need a new belt.

The width for the belt is suppose to be 18mm. Mines at 14mm!

Yup, if you pull the variator towards the drive face and moving the belt, you will see/feel that play I mentioned before. You could also try a shorter drive boss and pickup a few mph's at the top too.

Its been a while. Things happened. I moved back home to Michigan. I'm getting back into this project. I thought I would jump right in with out stretching. <-- this will be funny in about 5.. 4.. 3.. Ok so first of all, this here is the bottom mount. Gotta make that longer So I cut it. Then I cut some of these 12" lengths of 1" box tube. They fit snug in there. Yes it was planned. And Yes it felt awesome when it worked. Lest do that again. Please excuse my welds. I am not good, and they are not complete. Now these didn't turn out as expected. I'm going to dremmel a better channel for the pipe to sit in. It Does What It Does And It Does It Well.

Welcome back to Michigan! What area do you live in? I live in the Thumb.
Love the 12" stretch! Nice job.
Nothing like riding something that says "Don't @@@@ with ME!"
