So I got my Tax refund and I'm in the market for an exhaust. My little 139QMB Doesn't need A new one but, I want a performance exhaust and this cash is burning a hole in my pocket :riding: I know it wont do much for my 4T but, I still want to get one even if it only looks cool and sound better. I only wanna spend $150/200 so that Leo Vince looks pretty good. I don't like the dipstick problem though. I also have my eye on Scrappys stainless steel pipe. There is also an 89$ eBay special that looks like an NCY. Anyway, can anyone recommend a decent pipe? or point me in the right direction??

Wow, exhausts are getting up there. I got a P&P off of eBay some time ago for about $60 IIRC. Looks good. Sounds good. Gotta make your own bracket. Now I can't find any thing near that cheap that looks as good to me.

jmk- I have seen that Technigas Next R. I think Naraku also makes a 2T looking expansion pipe for the 4T crowd. I don't get it though GT-- I think I've seen your P&P video on You tube. The prices are ridiculous!!!! I only paid $600 for the scoot and MRP/ NCY wants half that for a pipe!!!!!! On A 4T you may be able to pick up 3mph for $300  I am really debating on a Leo Vince from Enviro or driving up to Scrappys for his S.S pipe. Unless someone else has a better idea

You might be able to get a muffler shop to build you a custom pipe of your very own for the money they want. I like the LV, but I think the oil cap issue would get old fast.
EDIT : You know prices are exaggerated when I go on eBay to look for small mufflers and I see performance 2 chamber Flowmaster clones for cars going for $45 shipped and the scoot stuff starts closer to $100.

That LV GP is awesome!!!! Will it bolt on to a QMB??? I'm not afraid to spend money but I would like to keep this under 2 bills. $100 would be even better. I was also looking at a MRP Japan Street Style exhaust. Enviro used to have them around the same price as a LV. No oil checking problem but, Now that I have cash they cost double

Yeah the $$ they want for one is another reason besides the po-po that I just scrapped the idea. I cant justify paying even 1 /10th what I paid for the whole bike new on an exhaust much less 1/2, and the gain be next to nothing...except sound But to each his own, they do look great! modify: Come to think of it, when i got pulled the other night doing 45 going uphill, the cop did walk up and looked at the exhaust side lol. I am glad I didnt have a pipe on it and I wish I still had my stock airbox, I would bolt it in place just for mock up lol.

Stick a piece of tape over the CVT cover to case seal. Tell the officer it's still factory sealed. lol

Hey speedy never thought of it like that. :light: :cop: Tis the season for cracking down on scoots. :censored: I told myself for a long time the price was too high but, This is the first time in years I can do what I want with both my refund and vacation checks. If I was smart I would invest in some sort of retirement plan or whatever. I'm not too bright though Pay some bills and get a few upgrades for the scoot. The $150price GT linked to is for a normally $250++ pipe. I could never bring myself to pay that much. I could just drill a couple holes for free
