spaz12 You said the Zuma kick start parts fit just in there? Oui. Great! I found out yesterday that I can order most of the Zuma parts here at Yamaha directly and they still sell the kick start assembly. It cost an arm and a leg but if that is what it takes to get it done so be it.

The stator side gasket is also the same and so is the intake gasket right?

The stator side gasket is also the same and so is the intake gasket right? Stator side gasket? The grease gasket if using the pump? You don't need that

Yeah, unless you are using the oil pump, you won't need that gasket. Promise

The stator side gasket is also the same and so is the intake gasket right? The intake gasket is the same, but what manifold are you getting? A lot of the high-end intakes don't require the gasket.

Thanks for the confirmation. So no need for the stator gasket then.
I am gonna use a VL14 reed block with Malossi 5mm spacer for that reed block. And a Malossi 360 intake. I guess I could use Permatex only.

Early Christmas this week. 2 out of 3 deliveries arrived. Most online stores say that Qty. 1 = 1m of hose. So I assumed that ordering a Qty. of 2 would get me 1x 2m but instead I got 2x 1m. Not sure this is common when ordering hoses online. I don't know if 1m hose is long enough to reach the cylinder. If not I'll have to buy connector joints. Anyways, stuff arrived in good condition and that is what counts even though the box from maxiscoot took quite a beating. Racing Planet Germany on the other hand use very thick and sturdy cardboard and the package got barely any damage.
