SOLD!
Wow, I changed the price to $500 today and my phone has been blowing up. Ralph was the first one to show up and he left with it for $450. Bought it for his girlfriends (piece of **** <--- Ralph's words not mine!) son so he could get back and forth to work as a chef. Ralph was in no particular hurry to get the scoot bought, paperwork signed, and loaded on his trailer. He was here for a really, reeaallly long time. lol. Another scoot back on the road again!

Yeah glad it sold kinda quickly. It's tempting to start gathering stuff for the AIR (re)build but I'm going to get this Vespa squared away. drc174 put a bug in my ear about the half-wave box exhausts for the Vespas and after a bunch of research I think he may be right. From what I'm gathering it's either go with the high-dollar expansion chambers or just stick with a box exhaust, the rest of the expansion chamber exhausts in between leave a lot to be desired and the newer performance box exhausts rev nearly as high anyway- just with a lot more torque! So- piston, programmable CDI, and performance box exhaust. |
