I know of 3 of these scoots. 32mph max. I put a MRP pipe thinking The 4 stk pipe and EGR looking thing would wake it up. It didn't help. The stock jet was a 62 but it measured like a .6096. So I put a 70 VM 11/22 thinking it would be better but it was rich. put the 62 in it was better but lean. Why?? No restricter in the Var. 5gr. weights No restricter in air breather. Any ideals??

Move up to a 65 of 67.5 main if 61 is lean and 70 is rich. That sounds small for a minarelli to me, so it makes me wonder if the intake is restricted somewhere. Is it rev limited?

70 jet was the smallest I had. Being new they didnt want me to drill the stock jet. They plan on going Big Bore soon. When I had the carb off I stuck my finger down the intake and touched the reed cage it didnt feel like there it was restricted. No rev limiter so far not really reaching high rpm. may try a lighter roller.

If it's not getting the revs it should, I agree to try lighter weights first. Might be just what it needs if it's got some long stock gears. If not, I suppose you'll find out if there's a rev limiter. Mark the vari while you're in there. Might give you more clues if it's not fixed with the weights.

It was the CDI. The stock CDI had a 4 wire connector. Ordered a performance CDI from Qlink it came with a 6 wire CDI and the wire adaptor. It only used 5 of the wires. The scoot will know run over 45mph. It was a DC CDI still going to try the pipe one day.
