Ive run the autotech stuff, its good quality..I think that does use a 6mm jet, that stock pipe has a catalyist in it,I'v got one and cut it open, quite interesting!

Never worked on one of those in particular, but my Venus is a Keeway scoot. It's just a 14mm carb like almost every other 1E40QMB has. Mikuni VM11/22 main jet.
You can just drain the oil out and use premix in the gas tank, but the pumps gonna go bad eventually without lubrication I guess. Might cause some drag on the crank. Dunno for sure, I always remove it.

I noticed the cat, its funny how they made the exhaust look a expansion chamber but its full of baffles and catalytic converters, all show no go hahah
And that is a good idea to just fill the oil tank with premix, i plain on running 32:1 so if i made it real simple and threw some 16:1 in there i bet it would still give enough lube for the pump and its such a small amount used it prob wouldnt effect anything. if anything it might fatten it up a little bit

Huh? No I meant fill the gas tank (primary tank) with premix. I wouldn't go messing around with guesswork on the oil setup. That's a big part of switching to premix in the first place, no guesswork. You know what is in your tank/engine.
If you use the old oil reservoir for anything, the best thing I've seen is to fill it with your normal premixed fuel and pipe it in as a reserve tank with a main/reserve switch.

If you swap exhausts,I'd love to have the silencer off the stock exhaust!

What I was thinking was just putting premix in and allowing the oil pump to inject that. Its only about 3% of your total fuel but who knows how that would affect the carb circuit. Im doing some searching to see whats up but I'm prob just gonna drain it, plug the carb hole and fill er up. I would be interested in rigging up a reserve tank though, thatd be a nice peace of mind. Im planning on putting the stock pipe on my beamer and swappin another ebay top end on it. Theres a good chance the crank is going fast or gone so I will let you know what happens. Hoping to do the installs tomorrow though. May or may not get around to getting the coil on, they take a different plug dont they? BR8HS or B8HS or something? Also does anyone have any little top end tricks for a super clean install? I kinda slapped my last kit together/didnt break it in well. So far I'm planning on spraying the gaskets with gasket spray and re torquing the head bolts after a heat cycle or 2. Rings generally come within tolerances dont they? Would it be a good idea to lightly hit the edges of the ports with a nail file?

:wheelie: Runs like a raped ape. Running a 95 main with 28:1 premix. Will easily do 53 but it screams on the midrange. Revs to about 9k on the stock cvt. Pulled out after the break in and the back end stepped out on the grass. Hell yea

Little update-still running strong. Moved to the NC mountains and it actually pulls hills pretty nice with stock weights. I have 5 gr weights but am scared to go into the CVT after going through 3 variators and almost destroying my crank on my last build. Tops out at 52 at like 9.5-10.3k. Stock crank likes it (knock on wood). Also just adjusted my shock from position 1 to 4..not sure I like it as much as a shock extension. Its pretty damn firm for a 200lb guy sitting on the ass end, may have to back it down
Also moved from sea level to >3k'. Just ordered a 85 main (from 90) to compensate for summer temps/elevation/and the 50/60:1 mix Im running with Klotz--Stuff smells so good I randomly fire it up..Haha

Sounds like it's doing about what it should to me. Well enough I might also leave it alone with the stated past history.
