I look ridiculous

I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror today with my helmet on. Why didn't anybody tell me how goofy I look?
Look, I know I'm no model....I look all of my 47 years, I'm balding and paunchy but I never thought I looked THAT bad.
I have an oval head and my helmet sits high on me. The result is something out of Spaceballs.
I'm all for saftey, are there helmets that fit differently? I admit, I didn't take a lot of time when I originally got the helmet. I just wanted to keep my brains in my head, but now that I actually saw myself (2 years after I originally got it...not sure why it took me that long to look in a mirror) I'm all ewwwwww, what a dork.

I'm 6ft2in and nearly 300lb and ride tiny scooters with a full face helmet and a camera attached to it. I look huge on any scooter and people really stare if the camera is side mounted. The helmet itself doesn't bother me though. I think it looks much cooler than my face. lol

Just gotta have fun, do your own thing, and not worry about it. If it's just the helmet fit that gets you, spend some time in stores that stock plenty and check the mirror.

What helmet are you wearing?
The SS1400 (intermediate oval) has a nice profile. Wears and looks good. Just got mine 0rig 160 @revzilla.

They price matched for 85 + the "cool"  smoke shield came to around 120.
I do like the look of Dan50's helmet in recent purchases, and to have the ability to grab a drink or vape at a stoplight is a real +.

I am 58 and I don't give a crap what I look like because, I know for a fact I am much better looking than a guy that had a bad scoot accident without a helmet.

I'm only 5'11" so I look ok ON the scooter. My helmet just fits me weird.
I have a long head. I come from a long line of long headed people. We were doctors, lawyers, engineers....but as far as I know, I'm the first one to ride a scooter. If my ancestors could talk to me from the grave they would say "your head is long, you shouldn't ride a scooter"

When i ride and i see my shadow my neck is so long that i look like a bobble head with my helmet on. Doesnt bother me i have fun with it.

As far as the ss140....I have no idea what that guy in the video is saying. I know it's English but it's not making any sense. Either he is having a stroke or I am. As a voice over artist and former radio announcer people presenting anything with bad diction makes my skin crawl.
