I've seen the Can-Am Spyder and ripoffs, and I've seen the Piaggio MP3. Just the first Chinese or any one really that I've seen quite like that. I agree that it is probably directly related to a Chinese ATV front suspension.

Interesting, that would be just the thing for builditright as he wouldn't need to balance at a stop. I would need three ramps to get it in my workshop! It is a nice looking scooter.

Jim, I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with the place or not, but there's a small used car lot on the DE line by Reliance on the way to Seaford that always has some Chinese scoots out there. I went by Tuesday and they had a trike that looked just like the one in the second link above out front, other than the color is burgandy and not black. Not sure what the price is, but if he wanted to check one out in person there was one there. Pretty cool looking piece. Here's a link to it on Google Maps... maps.google.com/maps?client=opera&rls=en&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=used+cars&fb=1&gl=us&hq=used+cars&hnear=Federalsburg,+MD&ei=5CDFTaz5JYHo0QHtsa2XCA&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=image&resnum=4&ved=0CCwQtgMwAw

A sunny/Jmstar - cam-am Brent.
Might not be too long before you find one in the water not to far from that sunny scoot you recovered. I'd like to say "It's all you" <-- but i'd be dead wrong..

you know i get a kick out of the part of the add where they say free mso/mco and then they give it a value well by law they have to give you a mso/mco and they act like an owners manual is something special too

I replaced a belt on an Ice Bear 150 a while back and I thought it was kinda flimsy. There is a pull starter like on a lawn mower where the kicker should be and it felt awkward riding it cause it don't lean when you turn the bars. You can't cut between cars with 'em either. They do turn heads I'll give 'em that.

and they act like an owners manual is something special too If you've ever read a Chinese scooter's owner's manual, you know it is something special.

Hillariously, moments after reading this thread for the first time I went out for a short ride and saw a bike with a two-wheel front conversion... and a two wheel rear conversion as well. I think it started life as a Honda Goldwing. Like Brent I was thinking "how is that thing registered?" Then I thought "at that point, isn't a convertible CAR what you really wanted?"

Wonder what would happen to insurance if you actually did have to tag it as a car? That would be a serious price hike if it changed to car insurance.
