Hello.
Are you still using the stock filter or have you installed a uni-filter?

I still have the stock air filter on it. The crankcase breather tube is now just ziptyed high up on the frame.
Okay 3days ago the scoot stop working and had 0% compression and sucked from the exhaust. So yeah it was the exhaust valve again. I took it apart and i bought some new gaskets and new valve seal's Then i just cleaned the head with some steel wool and lapped the valve's again so that they would seal properly. (probably not needed but still smart to do it while its apart.)
Then i reassembled it all and i did an compression test and i got 148psi so that's great.
After that i drove it 2days and i noticed my rollers were sticky so i opened the cvt and had a look. I noticed that the inner core of the rollers (steel) were slipping out of the plastic case around it.. so it was wedged in the variator. so i got some spare rollers at home and i replaced them. but when i did a test drive i quickly noticed that the rollers probably were 1 whole gram lighter than the old one's so i ordered some 8g rollers yesterday night.
By the way i read that a crankcase breather (the dipstick type) could improve 5/10% performance what do you guys think about this? I kind of think it doesn't do anything but just breath the crankcase a bit better. (especially because the oil has to be moved. so it would be more efficient to make the stock crank breather bigger since that will vent the air and not the oil which is way harder to displace. How do you guys think about this?

What are your valve clearance?

What are your valve clearance? Now I've put it to 0.08mm IN and 0.12 EX Already have some less cam noise. And with the compression test i get 150psi so that's fine

I wasn't sure about the Oxy sensor so i went ahead and bought a clear spark plug ;D Expensive as frick but it kind of is easy to tune with it. know i now that the idle is perfect and that the mid is a bit on the rich side. and full throttle seams to get blue so the main jet should be fine then. (hitting against the rev limiter so could affect the readings Here is the video and then you will see what i am talking about. youtu.be/yOOiwnu0vWEAnd spark plug is nice coffee brownish so i am happy about that

I've thought about one of those for years. Only issue is how to tune under load on the road. Does the mirror work for that and is it secure enough to not worry about on a quick ride?

Its secure but however you can only run it for a few minutes and then you have to stop it or you can damage the clear sparkplug. And its pretty hard to read it in the scoot the mirror was useless since the frame was in the way of the mirror So i just used my phone to look around the corner But i guess you could mount a camera on your frame and capture it

Thanks. Didn't realize it was so time-limited. Everyone seems to tune idle with it or try part throttle (don't really like the idea of tuning anything above idle on the stand under no load personally). I'd prob kill it trying to tune on the road.

Alright i got the naraku cvt kit and i am a little bit disapointed for so far. All great stuff but just as good as the stock kymco stuff Acceleration in the mid is great and the high is also a bit better but for now from standstill to moving is a bit slow. So its either belt slip or the clutch really has to wear in (only making contact in 2small areas so that will grind away after some use. So what do you guys suggest for some better speed and acceleration? (Could still go for an unifilter but i dont think that's gonna change too much.) She does run fine now so i think engine wise i am going to let it be as it is. Coffee brown sparkplug so that's perfect Here is an vid of the acceleration and sound. youtu.be/E9zEV3YlXb8

Well i am not happy... Dont buy these cheap performance fans And if you do keep 1 spare with you.. I was doing a speed run so it was at 9500rpm and the fan blew apart damaging the fan shrout. All the pieces? Idk where they have gone..

Hi. What was your highest top speed with the malossi multivar? And what rollers did you use with it? Also if isn't too much trouple, could you measurre the diameter of the malossi variator? Did you find the naraku variator better? Have a good day

Did you find the naraku variator better? Have a good day Highest speed with the malossi was 45mph/73kmh. (with a storm in the back 50mph/80kmh) That was with 7g rollers. And overall the malossi multivar isn't that bad. the full naraku kit well I kind of don't feel that much difference as I hoped. so I would just stick with the variator and leave the clutch stock. (however its a Kymco clutch which are way batter than the cheap Chinese stuff of course so with a cheap clutch it would matter I guess) And diameter ill measure it when I find the variation again between 8others xD. its scary how fast you get spare parts from everywhere. i kind of help people sometimes with big bore's and variations so I can keep all the old one's ;D

Sorry to butt in but I have a question. On my Kymco people 4t there was a kinda thick rubber gasket between the case and CVT cover which broke apart when I opened it up, first time probably been opened. Anyway, now I don't have gasket there is a gap when I put cover on. Won't close all way because of starter Bendix? You have same problem?

I didnt had that problem but i still have the stock gasket on there. Ofcourse i would advice getting a new gasket and otherwise you can always put some washers between the case and the cvt cover but thats kind of the worst thing to do. Or just let a machine shop remove a bit of the bendix but that would probaly cost more than a new gasket.

Okay ive been bad and installed one of those green performance foam filters. (sprayed it with air filter oil) i also made the ports a bit bigger in the head and I made the intake manifold allot bigger. it was really small. so now it runs a bit more nervously. its nice and snappy on the throttle
I upped the main jet to 88 instead of the 84 so that should also be fine.
