Got the engine back in the scooter, its all back together other than the gears needing to be switched out. Going to do that tomorrow.
I also thought about rejetting, I am running a 100 main now and the clip in the needle is in the lowest slot. From the amount of oil that covered everything from the exhaust leak, I think its getting plenty of fuel for now.

The new gears are in. The shaft pressed out harder than I thought. Had to use heat. Also heated the new gear when reassembling. Then I had to satisfy the gear box's addiction to Amsoil. Now I just need some warmer weather.

I have been using that gear oil for a while now, I like it. Its very thin so its gotta be good for an extra 1-2 MPH. Lol!

I use it also it just doesn’t quiet my straight cut gears as much as Mobil1.

I use it also it just doesn’t quiet my straight cut gears as much as Mobil1. Funny thing. The Kymco uses helical cut gears stock, when I up geared it, they were noticeable louder. The Honda are straight cut stock, the up-gear were straight too. No sound difference.

Mine are pretty loud. Surely you can hear them in my videos. They used to bother me but I’m used to it now. I don’t recall any noise increase with the Elite when I had it. Interesting...
