I don't think so... but the battery is so small on these scoots in general that any big draw might hurt the system. I turned my hi-lo switch into a on/off switch (hi-beam on, lo-beam off) so I can keep the draw down of i need it.

Yup. Just hook both headlight wires(hi-beam and lo-beam) on each bulb up to the hi-beam wire in its socket.

I couldn't leave it and did the full bulb and relay swap. Replaced all flasher bulbs to 10W and installed the 10W relay that I got the other day and voila! May there be light, well flashing lights to be exact. Now everything works as it should. So I guess it was the 8W flasher relay after all. Also replaced one of the headlight bulbs (12V15/15W) and now headlights work as they should. Both lights shine btw. for normal and high beam. I am glad this is over. Now I can drive her in good conscience.

Took her to work today and she drives very nice and smooth. I hit 60km/h (37mph), GPS confirmed, before I ran out of road.
She smokes like crazy especially at WOT. I guess too much oil gets pumped in there?
I definitely need a higher and stiffer rear shock.
All in all the Prebug is a nice 2T to ride. Maybe one day I might follow in PIGs footsteps and install one or the other performance parts. But for now this is my rain bike and I need to keep her in stock condition.

Pull the pipe and use a heat gun on it or a torch. It probably has a bunch of oil in it from sitting.

Yeah most likely. Doesn't it get better once I drive her for a while? I have a heat gun, what should I do with it exactly?

Take off the muffler and get it crazy hot to burn off all the extra stuff in it. I guess an old barbecue works too, haven't tried it tho.

I supposed it would eventually clear itself, assuming that the large smoke trail doesn't bother you that much. Otherwise, pull it off, place it on your driveway with the heat gun pointed at it and walk away. Come back when she stops smokin
