I happened to buy this 86 (my year of birth) Honda Vision the other day because i felt like it and now im one of the cool honda pplz. It real dirty from sitting in a dusty garage for ages. Next thing is some cleaning and then maybe slap on a corsa and a 38mm carb and claim my place on 90mph speedlist.

That thing is cool as hell. Not a big fan of what looks to me like baby blue, but the shape is old school, which I really dig.

Beautiful scooter. The vision has cooler side panels than our version(aero50). I like the light blue!
Don't know if they make a corsa for it, but polini did make a 47mm bbk for it. I've got one on mine.

I might swap the engine with one from a sym dd50. Those are more modern. But atm im not gonna do too many mods, just try to bring it in the best shape possible.
But yeah, baby blue, thats why i bought it! Love that stupid wrong 80's style. Boxy, flashy colors.

The symdd50 motors have more parts for em, but don't junk that Oem motor! Lots of folks would like it, there really not bad. I think most of the trans parts from a dio af18 motor fit, and it's kinda like an overrange- bigger rear torque driver, and bigger front vario, and longer belt. The only real down side to the variated af05 motors is the gearing choices. Pretty much stuck with 7:1 if you go after market.

Nice Honda! Now time for a corsa bore, feel the power. 70mph club. The Oem motor is capable of about 60-65 w a bbk and gears I think. A guy on hondaspree.net ported one and did a lot of stuff to it and got it to like 11k rpm I think. This is my 420th post!

It seized up yesterday. It was rattling quite bad thanks to the technical skills of the PO but nevertheless totally ignorant I took it for a ride.
So now there's a 47mm polini on its way. My friends dad is gonna chuck the head in a turning machine adding a nice squish after measuring the piston dome radius. Imma throw in some gears for either an AF05 engine or a Peugeot Fox/Honda Wallaroo. I have a Gianelli race chamber for Honda AF engines (peugeot actually) hanging around which im gonna fit on the AF05's angled exhaust port.

No just the normal one for the af05 with the angled port, but paid only 50 bucks for it (brand new!). They don't make the corsa for these engines and the newer af16/18's have a longer stroke so they're not plug and play.
