Bought some parts this week A set of top racing 16/32 primary gears, a brand new Proma Bad Snake exhaust, some malossi cf 0.3mm and 0.35mm reeds and a (aparently geniune honda) air filter element. Oh and a little bolt for the airbox, one got lost somewhere in time. \ What do you guys think the top speed will be with this setup? Myself i think 80kph or 50mph @ gps is doable. Everything over 50 is good but unlikely to me.

i'd vote 70 + But you doint live in the UK. So i'll stick with the slow US speed. nothing personal.
J/k, looks likes the old Honda spree, just a bit more simplified, Nice.

Strange looking pipe,,do you think its a 'tuned' or a 'style' pipe?? Don't reallt know actually. it's probably such a pipe like the tecnigas next, cheap, easy and a nice little upgrade on stock motors.

I bought this polini the other day for €50. This has been on someones shelf for a looooooong time. The leaflets turned all yellow ha! This thing screams for some porting. Super tiny ports, rough transfer channels, weird shaped exhaust channel. Btw the leaflet says i should use the stock carb and exhaust. A polini speedcontrol would be a nice addition and a cf reed petal of 0.3 or 0.35mm thickness. Im gonna buy some top racing gears this week. I don't want to nuke the engine with these super short gears. Never seen triple boost porting like that. All I've seen is either single or dual.

Im thinking 60+, at least hoping so. Where'd you get that pipe? From time to time im browsing a dutch auction site (very similar to craigslist) for cool stuff and i ran into this pipe. My plan was to hack n weld the gianelli i have laying around. But when i came across this proma for not too much i thought i'll just buy it and save the gianelli for something else.

Nice score. I've gotta homoet pipe I'm stashing away for this motor. Pipes are getting hard to come by for these things.

Curious what the RPM's will get to with the tall gears... 8k should get you like 58mph or so?? 50mph seems realistically conservative!

Nice score. I've gotta homoet pipe I'm stashing away for this motor. Pipes are getting hard to come by for these things. Those are dutch pipes you know, very well built except for that sharp angle after the header. Chris Homoet is very well known for Kreidler, Zundapp and Puch Maxi exhausts. I had one on my maxi years ago, a buddy of mine has one on his right now. He loves it.

Yeah the angle is pretty hard. I've never run it, I've seen a proma chamber and i think a gianelli pipe to

Holy smokes. How did I miss this thread!!! Lucas has a honda? Did hell freeze over?! All the stuff for the af05 is drying up fast. Just do an af16 or af18 swap and then the sky's the limit. I would guess 55 with that setup you have cooking for the af05. Congrats on the new Scooter and welcome to the dark side
