Bought some tiny 2.50-10 Kenda K313's. There was a 3.00-10 on the back and I think with this 2.50 tire i'll have bette take off and maybe even a higher top speed.


JB'd a bogus lubrication hole in the inlet.







Also been trying vinegar to remove rust from some of the pipes i have laying around.
All of the pipes have about the same ammount of rust on them like the Yasuni


I've had them in a jar of regular white household vinegar for about a week. Rinsed off the area's that were submerged with water and baking soda (neutralizes acid) and this is what came out.



The yasuni needed another go but the other pipes came out very clean, especially the Tecnigas since it was super rusty!

For comparison, look at the silencer 'end pipe' or whatever they call it.

Nothing too exciting happened here. In between school stuff I managed to rebuild the engine, paint the wheels and cvt cover, have the crank trued, do some minor porting to the cylinder and reeds and have it running without air leaks. It runs quite good actually. It has a huge squish clearance atm. I probably gain a ton of torque after the head is milled down. Further I need only a tad stronger clutch springs and a little leaner on the needle. But besides that Im quite happy with it.

I did a speed run and let one of my friends check speed from this car's speedo...just over 45mph. I think I need at least double the speed with this cast iron Polini bbk according to the Honda forums. Maybe a 38mm carb, from my cr500 for instance, will do the trick?

So uh...., last saturday the weather was good, beers cold and I had a bottle of gear oil ready for a quick trans oil flush.

Had a few beers and as a result I forgot to tighten the bolt from the filler hole and now its gone

No harm done to the gears luckily, the gear case is still full. But I need a new bolt. Does anybody know the thread size?

Since a few days im thinking of selling the vision. It's a fun little scooter but im kinda getting bored with it. It's uncomfortable and just one project too many. I was planning of selling it for around €400 so i took it for a wash real quick this evening. Afterwards i drove to the park to take some shots for the advertisement i was planning to put online.

And because it's one bad b#tch magnet, in no time there was a female coming my way. This lady came up to me asking me if i was taking pics because i was gonna sell it. I was like yeah, you wanna buy it? We got into a little conversation, she took it for a little test drive and was instantly hooked. So when all goes as planned, it will change owner this friday. made an agreement on €350. Bought it for €150 and spent around €150 on parts i think. Not a big profit, but i don't really care. I'll probably spent the money on my TSX thats still in 1000 pieces.
