My Honda Helix CVT cover is vented into the breather box. Another thing that I love about the Helix cover is two bolt removal. The Cyprus has a large 3-4 inch diameter hole in the front over the vary itself with a plastic scoop and filter covering that keeps things out. My point is, both of my 250 4t scoots have factory vented CVT covers. I don't believe it to be a coincidence. They are that way to keep the CVT parts cooler. I vented my ETon CVT cover as well. There was a well respected and knowledgeable member hee thta wanted to or did ( ) vent their CVT cover and connect tubing from the engine fan to the ecvt cover to aid in cooling while stopped even. I always thought that to be a good idea, and cen planned dto do that totnhe ETon as well.. Yep. If u look at chopsuwe 's pics ^^ (Adly engine) these Adly's come that way stock- with the vent tube from the fan cover over to the CVT cover....

Yup. That's the method. I didn't remember it being stock on anything but I believe it was usmcdoc who mentioned modding a mina in the esame way using conduit..

If you are running with out a cover and no problem sounds like interference problem maybe cover is misaligned so cover have a location small collar or 2 did some one remove them causing a problem?
