I live in De Pere. Bastard scooter actually wouldnt start on my last night.
Im taking this whole engine apart when i get it home.
Also did a bit more listening and the "ping" sound im hearing is not coming from the engine its just wind noise mixing with the engine sound.....
if i cant find anything else wrong with this after i rip the engine down i may just go back stock.
To answer you Jmkjr72 i have the NKG Iridium plug in there.

I'm stopping out there tomorrow to (hopefully) get some jets from Joel. I took everything apart today (left the 90main in) and raised the needle all the way up... Running the best it has yet. Going to buy a 95 & 100 tomorrow. Going to feel so stupid if this has been the problem this whole time. Either way I'll be leaving some duckets when I figure this out.

ok feeling stupid jets were the problem...
New problem.. my fork has started locking up when i get to higher speeds... like the opposite of power steering in cars... unlocks at low speeds, but above 10mph seems to lock straight.
Started doing this after a test run... on the run the moped died but started rigth back up, although it lost power. This veh does have a steering lock im pretty sure... not sure why it would be acting like this though.
