I am building this back together for a 4 hour endurance off road race in September. ( niftyfiftyendurance.com/ ) I and 4 others will be racing for 2 local charitie's Blood Bikes and Air Ambulance here in the UK ( www.walesairambulance.com/ ) ( bloodbikeswales.org.uk/ ) The links above gives you any info rather than me blabbing on. It started off as a spares kit when I bought two scooters for approx $50. One is now on the road, the other has just been pushed about and nowt done to it so when I come across the details on the 50cc scooter rally which one of the members of this forum posted about on here, I think it was Aeroxbud I thought maybe I will do that and now a few months later and having to move workshop space about and tidy up all my shiney bits from the garage I have lost I unearthed the junk scooter and am going to start putting it together. I shall be adding wordage and pics as I do stuff on it over the coming months and answer any questions you wish to ask. ( I have also found the bookmarks tick box thing so should be able to find post again to add things ) SO WITHOUT FURTHER A DO. I PRESENT THE BUILD UP IN PICTURE FORM OF MELLOW YELLOW ( once panels off and painted ).

Well just ordered a solenoid and brake shoes. Checked brake shoes and they had no lining on them and did not have a solenoid anywhere. Will prob find the old slenoid in the morning.

That syringe gives new meaning to the words "fuel injected."

That syringe gives new meaning to the words "fuel injected." Indeed it does but the rubber plunger in the cattle syringe did not like petrol and started breaking up so now I shall drain carb in hope the jets not bunged up with rubber

Well the front brake assemby arrived today. Wrong caliper but old one worked ok when put back on and bled up. Did it all in the rain as man shed still having stuff moved into it. I must have about about 20 sheep fleece's that need sorting ready for festivals. Next thing on the list a petrol tank and not a syringe Watch this space.

An update, the off road endurance race was cancelled till March. Today my last part for the engine rebuild an inlet manifold. The engine will be rebuild using 70cc Naraku part's and new Naraku crankshaft and a 20mm carb. I am off to Portugal on the 5th January so all work will start then or be farmed out in the meantime to the mechanic up the road.

Sounds good Milly. Hope your feeling better soon. That flu has been really bad this year. I know people who have been laid up for seven to ten days with it.
