All of my experience in working on 2T and 4T's they had a manual petcock until I got my scooter. When mine decides to go south I will be replacing it with a manual. While the vacuum operated petcock I feel was put into place so make it easy for the new rider if you a seasoned rider it just becomes second nature to turn your fuel off.

Enjoy your new shutoff valve. ;D Just keep an eye on that clear hose unless it's specified for use with fuel.

Did you take the old vacuum operated one and smash it?

What is even "neater" is if you have a Zuma..... the petcock off of a Raptor fits and you get a reserve.

A pebble, use a screw so that if you need the vacuum line again you can use it and put a little bit of clear silicone one it to seal or copper seal.

is that an actual fuel valve too if not the fuel can eat the internal gaskets in the valve just like the non fuel hose
