Here's my rig. I've been working on it for around 4-5 years give or take. My end goal is to have a reliable 650-700hp and around 1400-1500 ft/lbs or torque to the ground. As of right now it has a fully built trans with a triple disk torque converter and all the goodies. Under the hood is the 5.9 Cummins. Mods to it are, ARP head studs, upgrade wheels on the stock turbo, cold air intake, 50hp injectors, 4inch FloPro exhaust, Airdog 150gph air/fuel separator, and EFI LIVE from Anarchy Diesel with 5 selectable on the fly power levels. It currently makes about 550hp and 1100ft/lb on the race tune. It really only needs a turbo from fleece performance, it's called the cheetah and it should make 650hp. Interior wise I've put a double din head unit, and replaced all the speakers with Rockford fosgate and added a 10" sub.

Ohh ya, on the race tune she'll turn the sky black. On the lower tunes it runs pretty clean though.

My current daily, pretty sure it makes about 6hp. But it serves its purpose, keeps miles off my truck and saves huge at the pumps. Current mods include an air freshener and a couple Dairy Queen coupons.

Those over the top builds kind of turn me off with how pretty they are. I've always liked the ugly builds.. Look like your everyday beater, but made to drive nice.
I do like the Ring Bros Winny tho.. probably because its based on a cheap donor rather than a desirable pony car.

I still miss my car regularly. I don't miss the associated costs. Below are a few sets of before (when I got it) and after (shortly before selling it) pics. Loved those fox bodies, but boy could the rear end come around quick on you at the worst times.

Loved those fox bodies, but boy could the rear end come around quick on you at the worst times. I had a heavy vert so maybe that helped, or I was always lucky, but mine liked to go straight. I used to like to stand on it in the rain while going down the highway to scare friends and it would go straight. Would spin off the line, but go straight. Even with the turbo, I could light the tires from 50MPH rolling and it would keep going straight. YMMV. I never really did much road racing with the Mustang. I put skinnies on the front so it felt like you were going to die if you turned to keep me from speeding everywhere. I did damn near end up in a field when some Focus SVT tried to keep up and I wanted him to disappear when it was closer to stock form. I can't blame the Mustang though. I don't think most cars take turns at around 70MPH in the rain under throttle all that great. My friend was holding on for dear life that day. lol
