They are getting more popular here, a lot more dealerships and shops are popping up, some car dealers are even carrying scooters now. And since gas is going up, it is much cheaper to ride a scooter. There is also the fact that more people are realizing that they only need a helmet to ride one.

Not sure if they were new riders but, I saw no less than 5 scoots on my 3 mile trip home from work this morning. Not including mine When I came out of work there was a blue scoot parked near mine.(1) As I was unlocking mine, talking to a coworker, a Guy on a 150 pulled up and asked where I got my windshield. Told him to check scrappys.(2) I finished getting my gear on and took off. There were 2 vinos parked out side Subway in the same parking lot.(3,4) On the way home at a red light another scoot drove by riding 2 up(5) That makes 5 scoots in less than 10 min. 6 if ya count mine Ya gotta love those numbers :riding: :scoot2: :scoot: :thumb:

I park up with anything from 6-10 scoots at college, it's always a sight to see a line of 6 Piaggio Zip's weaving between the traffic
