Yeah, I've seen scooterists in Easton riding without helmets, talking on their cell phones...he's probably that guy!

Hardly anyone in Easton wears a helmet. Never see anyone over there in a full face like me. Go figure, the ugliest sumbitch around and I'm the one protecting my face. lol Oh well, I like my FF. It's like you're in your own little world in there. At least the kids haven't been as bad in town. When I first started riding there were so many teens that wanted to yell stuff at me because I was on a scooter. Scooters just aren't as cool as having your mom drop you off to the local coffee shop to listen to folk music. Just thought I'd inform you of how that food chain goes. The bottom of the list is something like this... -Getting a ride from Mom. -Hijacking Granny's powerchair. -Getting a ride from Mom and having her loudly proclaim she loves you and don't forget your inhaler when she drops you off. -Riding a scooter. :sos:

Not for scooters. It was up for consideration and never passed. The next state over (DE) doesn't even have helmet laws for big bikes. It's the dumbest thing IMO to watch folks pull over in DE and put their helmet on a hanger and ride off again. Mostly Harley folks do it. A friend of mine did a wheelie for some kids at a school on his sportbike over there (yeah, not too bright) and the cop let him off mostly because he was impressed that he had a license, insurance, and was actually wearing a helmet.

Here in NC you have to wear a helmet regardless what you are riding scooter or motorcycle, the law even stipulates you have to wear them when riding a bicycle but they are not real strict on the bicycles. Get caught riding a scooter or motorcycle without a helmet and you are facing $180.00 fine.

You have to wear a helmet on a bicycle here only if you're under 16. Over 16 you're able to choose if you wanna split your head open.

I am originally from Ohio and lived there for 33 years. Back in the late 80's the helmet law went into effect and they made everyone regardless of their age wear a helmet. Are you anywhere close to suitland MD?

I hope it was the helmet that broke the window but, The airlift would suggest otherwise. That's gotta hurt :stars:
