This is the reason we're heading to Fort Dodge in an hour to look at a houses and with any luck, sign the contract today and start moving, we'll decide what to do about our current house after we move but I don't see it selling any time soon with these clowns next door.
This mess took all of a month for them to create and they tell their neighbors we're just being bullies complaining about it.
Wish us luck, hadn;t planed to move back home this soon, but hey, cousin eddy ain;t my bag.

I feel your pain. I have the same problem here.
The house across the street from me is pretty much the same scenario for the past few years. Luckily the foreclosure auction is next month. We have also been discussing moving as well.

Boone is a small town, literally a throwback from prohibition days, they have the codes, they just don't get serious about enforcing them as long as you pay your taxes.

On the other hand, we just offered the asking price on a little gem, with a $1000 good faith check and gave them till 8PM this evening to accept, we think they will of course. Check out the shop peeps, I'm drooling still.   |

Sorry for your troubles. But that is a great shop, you could fit 20 scoots in there. It already has a work bench, you're all set to go.

There was an 85 Vette and and a chuckus in the shop when we went through it, I told the realtor to try and get the chuckus in the deal  |

4 car garage! You lucky  ! I see no cars in the garage and a LOT of scooters! Plus all the parts shelves, tools, motorcycle lift, etc. Great buy! |

Had the last meeting with the realtor, home inspection is done, now is where we try to get them to fix some things without telling them we'll take the house regardless.

They agreed to everything, didn't surprise me, he sold his house for about $60K more than the tax assessment and we didn't even try to talk him down. We take possession at 12pm August 11th. Better days ahead indeed.
