Surely they can't be serious, $400 a year! Not many people are going to pay that. It almost seems like they want to get out of the photo hosting business. I've been going through the TMAX thread and switching links (that ones only ~300 pics) and noticed that they're saying some photos are improperly linked. Most are fine. All seemed like they were linked the same and I always copied and pasted the code they gave me.  |

Is third party linking allowed in googles cloud drive? I can get a link to any picture in my drive by sharing the photo.
Their storage rates seem to be more than fair 100G for $19.99 a year.
I have found if you right click on the missing image in your post, then choose inspect you can get the link to your image @ PB. Then you can open that link in a new tab to see which picture you were using in the post. Then you can find the correct picture on your new photo host, get the new link and edit your original post with the new link info. TEDIOUS AS HELL, there has to be an easier way?

Might just be me but it has been across multiple devices and computers. If I click on a thumbnail that someone else has posted in a thread to see a bigger picture it will open the page but never display the image. Never had that problem with the bucket. I knew a some point I would have to step up a plan with the bucket because of band width but this is nuts. I've used this service with 4 different forms, actually probably more like 10. All of those images are useless now. I don't know where all are posted to change them out. I still have most of the originals. I used the bucket for this purpose only and only uploaded pics I needed to post. I didn't move pics around in folders so I didn't break links. I got zero warning about this and still haven't. This service worked flawlessly and without issues for me until last night. What to do now |

Imgur doesn't seem to work well for me on mobile, I don't use a PC. I'll try to work on fixing my most recent pictures but most of them are on PB and I no longer have them. I did discover I can get some of my pictures back using a google image search.

As this crap unfolds,it'd be nice if computer type folk could direct us 'challenged' old folk on how to retrieve our pics from P-B and place them elsewhere..

John I believe on your computer when on your PB pictures you can right click the picture, save as, and it will save on your computer. Then find another hosting site and upload. |

I have begun a purge of both of my photobucket accounts by going to each photo and right click, save as...
I have stuff from over a decade ago on there I had forget about and lost from my HDD.
