I have had some fantastic rides, did some small mods, and got my Kymco running quite well. Upgraded to a free flow air filter, larger jet (drilled... blah), lighter sliders, new tires, and better oil, new speedometer cable. Waiting for new brake pads and a new front tire still. My ZX 50 now registers 42 on flat, doesn't stall, and runs smoother! I am just now getting back in front of a computer for the first time in a long time Riding is just too much fun. I am now considering buying an older Honda Rukus I found as a project, if the space for me to work on it works out (a friends garage). I never thought 50cc's could be this much fun

They can be a blast. When you feel like you need a backup scoot, I know you're having fun. :riding:

I'm addicted too! I'd be inconsolable if my zip stopped running. It is a blast!

This past week I rode to work twice although the weather was great all week. My drive to work on the scoot is about 26 miles one way as I take all the little country roads I can to avoid any major traffic. The odd thing is that while taking the normal route is only 19 miles one way taking the other route that is 26 miles is actually faster because there is no traffic and only a few stop signs. The weather here has been great, we could use a little rain.
