I have not used that crank, but I've used Autotech's cylinders before and I've used other stroker cranks from him. It's decent stuff. The quality of most of the 50-54mm stuff from a lot of sellers is about the same. I do like the Hoca 54mm cylinder from PFS for a good kit if you don't plan to do a lot of porting. It may work out well for that too, haven't tried yet. It has auxiliary exhaust ports so it's like having a larger exhaust port at the right time. It works well with a 42mm stroke crank and the port durations aren't so wild that it wouldn't work out OK spaced out for a 45mm crank. The 45mm Ruima crank is what myself and some other members are using in out 103ccs. Might wanna check it and other items from one of our members... 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=4sale&action=display&thread=1760&page=1

i am not interested in a peaky engine, so if i could use the stock porting that would be preferable. i have a leo vince sp3 and a dell 19mm clone on a autotech bbk just now, how would they work for the 100? autotech recommends a carb, exhaust update and of course boring out the case, but no mention of porting work..so i am thinking i just need to bore the case and upjet the carb, or am i wrong?

The 19mm should be fine. The SP3 for the smaller engines may not be. I think the stinger is kinda small on those and that may retain too much heat in the bigger engine. You'll need to tune the carb, tune the CVT (heaver weights, possible lighter clutch springs to take advantage of the grunt the big 2T has), and probably swap exhausts. The Hoca is not peaky. I just did a review of it on my otherwise stock 90cc. If you haven't checked it out, look around in the thread below. I think there's useful info there for anyone with a 90+. If you pick the stuff up in the classifieds, the price is gonna be more cost effective on the stock stuff for sure though. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=yamajog&action=display&thread=1712&page=2

While I, personally, prefer a 2 stroke... you gotta stand back and look at the cost.
I know a 150cc GY6 is almost a bolt-in to replace a horizontal Minarelli. I stuck one in a late Zuma using just some washers and some wiring (ok.... and I "ovaled" some frame tubes)

i like the 50 for here in ct since no reg and insure, it is rumored some cops check the engine #. if i must reg the thing, i will look for an older single 250cc motorcycle.

sd claims this is a new lot of engines, maybe the quality is better than the last lot..whose exhaust are you planning to add on? i will be looking to get a cost on boring out my cases this week if i can find someone to handle the job.. no reg and insure is still very attractive.

the 150cc 4t option is sure priced right
That is EXACTLY what I was on about. I would not expect a 4t @150cc to work as good as a 2T @100cc, but it is close. To get a 50cc 2T out to 100cc it is going to cost more, and reliability is "stretched", the 150cc 4T would probably be a better choice in the "big picture" (over a long time period, or in a daily driver).

i am keeping an eye out for a 150 4t. i am ignorant of the 150 motor, will the stator from 2t fit the 4t or is there some messing with the wiring harness required. i see that some frame mods were required to fit the 4t was that on a triton or other scoot. i know a good welder, would changing the mount locations on the triton make the install easier? i googled around and found some info on a zuma swap but it was lacking on useful info.

i am keeping an eye out for a 150 4t.
Try and snag a/the engine bracket too. (the bracket/mount from the engine to frame, bolt engine side, bolt frame side.... you may find it is a simple bolt in, with, or without some washers)
The stator won't interchange, but the wiring will be close, you will have to add a normally closed relay (energized, or open, with the key on) to effect shut-down.
