I'm using ScrappyDog 44mm stoker HD crankshaft with Airsal 50mm Racing High Compression Piston. The starter im using is a GY6 High Torque Performance starter from scrappydog as well. My main problem is finding a battery that can turn the engine over on it's own. But in 20° weather it can be hard. Right now I'm using a 9s-YTZ10S it's for a Yamaha r1 it has 190cca but when I turn the key on the battery is only at 12.6v and scents it not tuned yet it's hard to start and not broke in yet as well. 12.6volts is fully charged battery. I also have the same thing you do, but you can try a double positive or larger guage positive cable with a double green negative that works too

I have a TaoTao 2014, stoke Crankshaft 41.4mm with a 52 mm big bore kit from Hoca with pop up Piston, my head is a Taida big valve 19mm exhaust with 21.5 or 22mm Intake, I run a keihn 24mm carb with 39 pilot jet with 107 main. Cr7hix iridium plug, with performance air fileter 42mm and Exhaust. My clutch is a NCY 107mm with blue and yellow torque spring. It will get up to 62MPH top speed with crusie of 50-55MPH running the Hoca 2.55 secondary gears stock HP was 3.5 with 49cc...I guess it is 7.5 to 8HP with all the mods I also went from 50mm BBK to the 52mm. It made a huge difference with just the extra 2mm. My head also has a three angle valve seat job from scrappy dogs.com mine is not broken in yet either with only 150km on the 52mm BBK 41.4 is stock... 44mm is stroker. Check this out if you want a quality stroker crank.

Purchased my setup today: 44mm SSP-G stroker crank, 52mm SSP-G cylinder kit, Hoca 52mm piston, a gasket set and some titanium valve retainers because why not. I already have an A9 Cam and a Hoca 52mm big valve head (best stock porting I've ever seen).
I have a 22mm Mikuni slide carb, and a 24mm stock CVK carb, toying with options; possibly a 26mm CVK or 26mm PWK, I wanted to go that route even before the stroke build.
I'll update some pics and info as I progress thru the build.

Over the winter I want to try making mine a stroker. Do those parts make it a real 100cc?

I might be able to install the motor to the frame tonight to break it in. I also pictured the carb I'll be using, a 26mm OKO with a velocity stack.

I like everything about that. Is this going into the scoot with the green rims?

Yup! That's Scootie, the funmachine. He was 88cc, now gonna be 93.4cc! I gotta do a compression test tonight, I know it's high and I'm curious. I just hope I'll have enough daylight to get everything buttoned up to the frame and go for a break-in around the neighborhood.

First start!! Sounds so mean (open header). Snappy as all get out! Too late to go break it in, and I gotta dial in that 26mm OKO as well. I haven't done a compression check either, I gotta call it for the night.

Nice! I want that carb... actually the whole thing.
Oh! Any tips on setting up a seat like that. The plastic keeps breaking on mine.

Just food for thought, with a 44mm stroker and a Naraku 52.4 setup, the max you can see out of a QMB139 engine is 94.9cc. There currently isn't anything larger available. True 100's don't actually exist at the moment unless you want to get into some very custom work. Matt

UPDATE: Scootie is alive and well! I did some laps around the neighborhood, keeping the RPMs below 6000. Fluctuated revs as I scooted about, then went home and let it cool. After some time I went for a good run. Had to adjust the needle in the carb a bit and did some 50-no-tuck runs, hold WOT for a few then letting off.
This thing RIPS. Take off is better, feels more grunty, and the one wheelie I tried scared me on how fast it came up.
I will be tuning the carb and CVT for the next few days, dialing in this new beast.

Just curious, the stroker crank just swap right without having to modify anything else?

Just curious, the stroker crank just swap right without having to modify anything else? On this build, yes. I thought I would have to stack gaskets to make clearance, but I didn't. I failed to to a clay squish test, but everything went well on the break in.
